The rooms at The Lucky Kata Hostel are so spacious and cozy, it feels like a home away from home. The bathroom has amazing toiletries and the kitchen is a real plus. Some rooms even have a patio! There's a comfy seating area, and I love having a TV in the room. Plus, the modern Thai-style rooms with air conditioning are just perfect.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the TV in the room. But hey, that's just me!

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The bed was comfortable, although it was a bit tricky to get in and out of. I loved having a cute little balcony with a street view, perfect for enjoying a smoke or drying my wet towel. The hostel offered a two-bedroom accommodation that was perfect for my budget, providing both privacy and convenience. The location was great, within walking distance of both Kata and Karon beaches. Mr Jojo, the host, was attentive and made sure I had a satisfying stay. They also offered a wide variety of tours with great deals, even better than my previous accommodations in Phuket.
I would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at The Lucky Kata Hostel for a week-long vacation with my boyfriend. The hostel exceeded our expectations in every way. the cleanliness of the place was exceptional. We could walk around barefoot without any worries. The location was also perfect, with Kata beach just a short 7-10 minute walk away. Additionally, there were convenient stores and an amazing restaurant called Kwong within a minute's walking distance. The receptionists were always friendly and provided us with helpful information. They also offered services like scooter rentals, trips, and laundry, making our stay even more convenient. Special thanks to Jojoe for his excellent service. The shared girls' room was spacious with large lockers and comfortable beds. We also stayed in a one-bedroom room on a separate occasion, and although it was small and lacked a closet, it had a functioning AC and a fridge. The staff cleaned our room daily and provided us with fresh bottles of water. our experience at The Lucky Kata Hostel was fantastic, and we will definitely be coming back!
Would recommend this hotel.

The hostel was very clean and staff very friendly. There were two beaches in a walking distance, the street it was located was peaceful and calm but restaurants, bars, markets just around the corner. a 7 eleven to go with a minute. Each morning during our stay we also took breakfast which was classic fried eggs bacon and toast, jam and a large plate of fresh fruits followed by a cup of coffee. Delivered to us with care and love. We had a room for two with a large bed and bathroom inside the room. On the same floor was also a simple balcony to enjoy the warmth and a airconditioning in the room to cool down. There were also dormitory rooms for men and women for an even more cheaper price. I have travelled quite a lot and this was one of the best low budget hostels I have been to!
Lots of roadworks and unfinished footpath on the street which made walking a bit of a pain. In the first night of my stay the electricity in the room gone, it was so hot so I called the owner to ask if he can fix it.
